I never promise that I can but I have always been able to get a web site re-factored and repositioned where it can get the most effective search results.

    Its pointless getting a million hits from just one unique user, rather get good quality traffic from traffic shaped to fit your unique profile.

Web pages - will using only keywords and META tags get your web site to number one?

Probably a 'well known' thing - keywords and META tags, but having popular keywords is not always the best tactic for getting your web site to the top slot.

    Anyone who gaurantees this is flat out lying. I never promise this as I know full well I cannot, I give it a really good effort and so far I have been successful. As I do not own the search engine I can only study it and what it studies to get a good educated chance at being right. So far with dilligent effort I have been successfull in achieving the stated goals.

If you want to just 'simplify' your design for better look and feel, accessibility must be an issue that is looked at.

Keep it simple is a great philosophy that I like to try and live by but I know from personal experience trying to do that can be very difficult to achieve. I have a few web hosting companies that I recommend and aside from 1and1 , GoDaddy.com is yet another that has a good reputation from the geek community and I normally recommend this company for my clients that are not in the uk who need cheaper hosting than 1and1.co.uk provides. The benefits of a .co.uk hosting company are the extra protections provided by UK consumer protection laws, godaddy has a good reputation in the industry from consumer groups and their backup is equal to if not better than 1and1.com! This said there are a lot of issues when it comes to choosing a hosing company and one of them is about data security and the laws in country your data is being hosted in.
